1. How can I receive a newsletter for alumni?
Visit section “AIESEC Today” and subscribe to News for Alumni. You will receive notification
by email when an entity (global, growth network (region), a specific country/territory, or a local
committee) publishes a fresh news item.
2. How does AIESEC know where I am and how to contact me? (profile update)
Make sure that your “Profile” is as complete as possible. MyAIESEC.net is a smart system and
it will connect you with other AIESEC members and alumni based on your interests, professional
background and AIESEC involvement if your profile is complete. Similarly, with a complete profile
other users of the system are able to find you according to the many different search criteria.
3. What is a wiki?
Wikis are allocated in section “AIESEC Today”. Wikis are AIESEC's main tool for knowledge
management. It is a growing collection of pages that - if not set differently - can be viewed,
created, and edited by AIESEC members.
Alumni can browse through these pages to see what is going on currently in AIESEC - wikis
can be set up specifically to connect AIESEC members and alumni around specific topics as well.
Alumni have the exclusive opportunity to communicate with other alumni only in the section "Alumni
Connections"
4. How to link forums & files to wikis or groups?
First, you create a forum or upload a file on MyAIESECnet. In order to connect it to wiki,
you copy the link of the forum or file in the wiki.

After login in the system, search for other alumni on the home page, in the section “Find a
friend” or in the section “Alumni you might know”.
7. How can I hear about what is happening in AIESEC today?
After login, check the section “AIESEC International Recommends” on the Home page or visit
the page AIESEC Today. On this page you can see the most recent news that AIESEC has for alumni, as
well as some of the projects in the network that you might be interested in supporting.
8. How can I get back in touch with my old local committee? How can I find
information?
To find contact details of AIESEC entities (national or local) you can check the global web
site www.aiesec..org , select the country web site and look up for contact information.
Using MyAIESECnet you can search for wiki with the name of country, national or local
committee. You can also search for specific people based on name of their role, in the “Networking”
page.
9. Which events are happening for alumni?
Information about events organized by AIESEC can be found on the home page in the section “
AIESEC International Recommend- events”.
Section “What’s new” on the home page provides information about external events that might
be of your interest, recommended or organized by alumni.
10. How can I promote my business to the alumni network?
“Alumni Business Directory” Page is the dedicated space for alumni to browse businesses that
are owned by AIESEC alumni, and of course to register their own businesses to share them with the
alumni network.
11. How can I search for a mentor among AIESEC alumni?
The “Alumni Market Place” page is the place in MyAIESEC.net for you to exchange information
about all sorts of opportunities for connection to other alumni, which are related to anything from
Funding/Investment Opportunities, Mentorship/Consultancy, Travel/Accommodation, Business
Opportunities, to Events and Charity/Volunteer Work.
When you click on "Needs" you are able to check what other alumni are looking for. Of course
you can also post your own offers or seek something specific - just click on "Add New" in the right
hand menu.
Where can I find a database of all alumni in my AIESEC country/territory?
“Networking page” and “Find a friend” on Home page are the right places to search for
contact of AIESEC alumni and members. Make sure you complete your profile so that other AIESEC
members and alumni can find you when they run a search for contacts!
11. How can I support AIESEC financially?
“Donation page” is a place where alumni can contribute to specific projects or ongoing
initiatives either on a global level, or locally. You can easily make your contribution by credit
card through an online payment facility and thus help AIESEC to allow more young people to live an
AIESEC Experience.

Go to “Profile page”, choose Contact, click on “Edit contact information” and change the
Primary Email Address that is used for the logging in the system, afterwards save the changes.
16. I forgot my password, how can I retrieve it?
On the logging page of MyAIESEC.net select the bottom “Recover Password” on the left side
and enter your email address. Your password will be sent to the e-mail address you have entered. If
you would like to change your password after logging in, you can do so in the "My Account" section
of your Profile.
17. How can I invite other alumni to MyAIESEC.net
You know some fellow alumni who are not yet on MyAIESEC.net? Use the “Invite alumni friends”
section on the home page to get them to join you – just fill in their name and email addresses, and
add a little personal message.

Support button can be found in the top right corner wherever you are on MyAIESEC.net, and
will always take you to a page of the Support Centre that explains the basic functions. In the
Support Centre you can also report a problem or suggest an improvement

professional background. You can search people from industry of your interest and add them to your

In “Alumni Connections” page you can create and foster connections with other alumni - you
can use wikis, forums, the file storage, as well as groups to discuss and share anything from
business opportunities to the state of the world with other alumni. This section is reserved only
for AIESEC alumni - if you would like to see and participate in the forums, files, and wikis that
current AIESEC members are using, you need to go to the section "AIESEC Today".
23. How can I receive messages when interesting information is updated on
MyAIESEC.net?
In your “Profile” page section “Settings” you can choose if you would like to receive
notifications from MyAIESEC.net directly to your email, or the system inbox of MyAIESEC.net.

“Groups” are the perfect way to connect to other alumni and AIESEC members, and can for
example be used to mail all its members at once. You can see all the groups that you are already a
member of, or that you can administer on the landing page when you first click on “Groups” in the
left hand blue menu.
25. Can I endorse businesses owned by alumni?
Alumni Business Directory is the dedicated space for alumni to browse businesses that are
owned by AIESEC alumni, and of course to register their own businesses to share them with the
alumni network. If you know the business or maybe the owner, and would like to endorse it, you can
do so by first clicking on the name of the business (which will take you to the detailed overview
page), and then on “Endorse” below the description of the business. Here you can also read the
endorsements added by other alumni.

MyAIESEC.net has its own networking module, which gives you the opportunity to keep the
contact information of your personal network of close friends and acquaintances, that you would
like to keep in touch with more regularly. In the search criteria you can search for AIESEC alumni
or members while selecting criteria the AIESEC details and AIESEC Role Details.

On the home page, in the section “alumni you might know” based on your profile, MyAIESEC.net
searches the database of alumni and shows here alumni that you may know. Click on “Refresh” to see
new suggestions, or on “See more” for a large list.
