Involvement with alumni
For almost 60 years AIESEC has been developing leaders that drive positive change in society. The AIESEC alumni network is dynamic and diverse: from recent alumni - young professionals with leadership and international working experience – to experienced managers and global leaders. AIESEC alumni include current and former ministers and heads of state – such as Stanisław Kluza the minister of Finance – as well as numerous top leaders in business and the civil sector, like Uwe Doerken, former CEO of DHL.

AIESEConnect
AIESEConnect is the global online platform for all AIESEC alumni to communicate with each other and keep in touch with AIESEC. An extension of aiesec.net, AIESEC’s communication and knowledge management platform, it is designed to meet the needs and profiles of AIESEC Alumni. The global reach of this network allows organizations to increase their visibility significantly amongst a select group of professionals.

• A networking module allows AIESEC alumni contact others with similar personal and professional interests and to track the networks that they established while being in AIESEC. This also allows our partners to track the AIESEC alumni within their organization.
• The career portal makes it possible for alumni to design their futures after AIESEC: There are expertly developed career resources and tools as well as high quality career postings from our partners.
• AIESEConnect has an integrated information center for all alumni activities run by AIESEC countries or alumni associations as well as a regular newsletter that reaches alumni globally.

Alumni Hall of Fame
Alumni Hall of Fame plays an important role in recognizing and awarding alumni who lead AIESEC through the ages and are now successful in their chosen field. These people serve as role models for today’s AIESEC members and demonstrate AIESEC’s impact on society.

The different Hall of Fame awards are presented to alumni who have made an outstanding contribution while being in AIESEC and after leaving the organization and who had demonstrated active leadership throughout their lives; alumni who make an outstanding contribution to AIESEC or those that have made considerable achievements as entrepreneurs and leaders.

Some of the former AIESEC members that have been inducted into the Hall of Fame include:

• César Gaviria - former President of Colombia and now Secretary General OAS
• Mr. Hans Ulrike Maerki - Chairman of IBM Europe/Middle East/Africa, Switzerland
• Ms Meera Sanyal – Head of Services, ABN AMRO Asia

PwC and DHL have jointly been supporting the Alumni Hall of Fame since its inception in 2001 in recognition of leadership and excellence.
